Step 2: Important Rule for 2025-26 Admissions

  • Samarth portal is used ONLY for students admitted in 2025-26
  • Only First Year / First Semester students
  • UG and PG new admissions only

❌ These are NOT on Samarth:

  • Old students
  • 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th semesters
  • Re-exams (Back / Re papers)

Old students will continue on the old ERP / university portal

Step 3: Understand Major & Minor Change (Very Important)

Earlier:

  • 3 Majors

Now (as per UGC FYUP – Four Year UG Program):

  • 2 Majors + 1 Minor

So:

  • Seeing Two Major + One Minor is correct
  • Do NOT look for 3 majors
  • This applies to all UG programs

Step 4: Check Programs Running in Your College

  1. Go to Academic Card
  2. Click Proceed
  3. Go to Programs Card
  4. Click Launch

    • Student login status (Yes / No)

This helps you know:

  • Who registered
  • Who has not registered yet

Step 11: Common Problems & Their Meaning

1️⃣ Program not visible

Means:

  • BA / BSc / MA / MSc itself is missing
    👉 Say: “Program not added”

2️⃣ Subject not visible inside program

Means:

  • Physics / History / Chemistry missing
👉 Say: “Course / Paper not added”

3️⃣ Minor paper not visible (PG)
