Step-by-Step Guide: Samarth Portal Student Registration

Step 1: Open the official website

  • Go to the official website of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra.
  • Scroll down the homepage.
  • Click on the Samarth portal icon.

Step 2: Go to Student Login

  • After clicking the Samarth icon, click on Student Login.
  • You will be redirected to the Student Portal.

Step 3: Start New Registration

  • Since you are a new student, click on New Registration.

Step 4: Fill the registration details

You need to fill the following fields carefully:

  1. Programme Name
    • Enter the programme in which you have taken admission.
    • You can:
      • Search by programme name, or
      • Enter the programme short code.
  2. Find Programme Short Code (if you don’t know it)
    • Go to the Admission Portal where you filled your application form.
    • Click on the link:
      “University Programme Course Code for Students”
    • Open the file.
    • Go to Page Number 10.
    • You will find all courses and their short codes there.
  3. Enter Personal Details
    • Enter your Name.
    • Enter your Enrollment Number
      (You can get this from your department/college).
  4. Captcha
    • Enter the captcha code shown on the screen.
  5. Click Submit.

Step 5: Verify OTP

  • An OTP will be sent to your registered email ID.
  • Enter the OTP in the given field.
  • Click Submit.

Step 6: Create Password

  • Create your password.
  • Submit the password.

✅ Your student account is now created.

Step 7: Login to Student Portal

  • Go back to the Student Login page.
  • Enter:
    • Username: Your Enrollment Number
    • Password: The password you just created
  • Click Login.

Step 8: Check Dashboard Details

  • After login:
    • Your username (enrollment number) will be visible at the top right.
    • Your admitted course will appear on the dashboard.
  • Click on the Course Card → Click Here to view:
    • Your name
    • Enrollment number
    • College (OU / Admitting college)

Step 9: Course Selection (Very Important ⚠️)

  • Click on “Click here to select your courses”.
  • Select courses only according to your curriculum:
    • Correct semester
    • Correct annual year

⚠️ Important Warning

  • If you select the wrong course, your exam will also be conducted for the wrong course.
  • Be extremely careful during course selection.
  • If you have any doubt, contact your department first.

Until then, do not select courses if you are confused.
