PART 1: FOR STUDENTS
How to Create or Link ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credits)
STEP 1: Open Student Portal
STEP 2: Register or Login
STEP 3: Go to Dashboard
- After login, you will see your Dashboard
- Your Program Name and Program Code will be visible
- Click Click Here
STEP 4: Link or Create ABC ID (Method 1)
- You may see a red message:
Action required – Click here to link or create your ABC account
- Click on it
STEP 5: If Red Message Is Not Visible (Method 2)
- Go to Dashboard
- Click Services from the left menu
- Click ABC – Academic Bank of Credits
- Click the blue button:
Click here to link or create your ABC account
You will be redirected to DigiLocker
STEP 6: Redirect to DigiLocker
You will see two options:
- Sign Up → For students who NEVER created DigiLocker account
- Sign In → For students who ALREADY have DigiLocker account
STEP 7A: DigiLocker Sign Up (First-time users)
- Click Sign Up
- Enter Aadhaar Number
- Click Next
- Enter OTP received on Aadhaar-linked mobile
- Submit
✅ Your DigiLocker account will be created
STEP 7B: DigiLocker Sign In (Already registered)
You can sign in using:
- Mobile number
- Username
- Aadhaar number
Steps:
- Enter details
- Enter OTP
- Submit
STEP 8: Give Consent
STEP 9: Search for ABC Document
- Inside DigiLocker, click Search Documents
- Type Academic
- Click Search
- Click Academic Bank of Credits
STEP 10: Fill ABC ID Details
Now fill the details carefully:
- Identity Type
- Select Enrollment Number
- Identity Value
- Enter your Enrollment Number
- Admission Year
- Select correct admission year
- Institute Name
- Select your university
- Example: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra
- Click Get Document
STEP 11: ABC ID Created
- Your ABC ID will be generated
- It will appear in DigiLocker
- Student work is DONE
PART 2: FOR COLLEGE AUTHORITIES
How to Verify Student ABC Profiles
STEP 1: Open College Dashboard
- Login to College Administration Dashboard
- Go to Academic Card
- Click Proceed
STEP 2: Open Student ABC Profiles
- Click Students
- Click Launch
- Go to Settings
- Click Manage ABC Account Details
- Click Student ABC Profiles
STEP 3: Understand Status Types
You will see three statuses:
- API Verified
- Details matched automatically
- No action required
- Verified
- Verified manually by college
- Draft
- Not verified yet
- Needs checking
STEP 4: Search Student
You can search students by:
- Enrollment Number
- ABC ID
- Admission Year
- Program
- Date Range
STEP 5: Check Student Details Carefully
Compare:
- Samarth details
- ABC (DigiLocker) details
- 10th Marksheet details
⚠️ Verify ONLY if these matches:
- Student Name
- Date of Birth
✔ Gender difference like M / Male is acceptable
❌ Name or DOB mismatch is NOT acceptable
STEP 6: If Details Do Not Match
- Correct details first
- Either in Aadhaar
- OR in Samarth portal
- Match details with 10th Marksheet
- Do NOT verify before correction
STEP 7: Verify Student
- If all details are correct
- Click Green Verify button
- Student profile will be approved
IMPORTANT WARNING ⚠️
- Do NOT verify in a hurry
- ABC ID is linked to:
- Exam results
- Academic credits
- Wrong verification can cause serious problems
FINAL NOTE
- Students must create ABC ID
- Colleges must verify correctly
- Without ABC ID, student results may not be published
